Tanisha and her daughter A’Lani, along with their neighbor, I met her through Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring. Tanisha brought me to joyful tears. She may not have much, but her neighbors needed a Thanksgiving meal more than she did so while I was there, she called her neighbor to come meet us. Tanisha gave her the box of food. So joyful! This neighbor was recently diagnosed with cancer and her husband just lost his job. Tanisha and A’Lani are on the list to receive swim lessons through Every Child a Swimmer in the spring.
