FBC Advanced Module: 2017 Swimming Pool Updates CILB #0612562 - 1 CE Hour- Meets CILB FBC Advanced Start: 8:00 AM End: 8:50 AM
This course provides an overview of the commercial public pool requirements found in the 2017 Florida Building Code as well as ANSI/APSP standard updates applicable to residential pools and spas. This course will also review new pool electrical requirements, energy efficiency and ADA requirements that have been applicable for several code revisions. The course will also include a short overview of upcoming changes to the 2020 Florida Building Code.

Electricity for the Pool and Spa Professional CILB #0612499 - 2 CE Hours – Meets CILB Pool Electrical Start: 1:05 PM End: 2:55 PM
When operating any swimming facility, pool and spa electrical knowledge should be a top priority. This course will assist attendees in increasing knowledge of the principles of electrical safety, set-up and proper use of meters, electrical calculations in wire and breaker sizing and understanding the NEC.
Chapter 489 - Prohibitions and Penalties CILB #0612422 - 1 CE Hour – Meets CILB Laws & Rules Start: 3:10 PM End: 4:00 PM
Every licensed swimming pool and spa contractor should be familiar with the regulations that govern their contractor’s license. This course will outline the requirements of Florida Statue Section 489.127 Prohibitions; penalties as it applies to the profession of contracting. The presentation will include the role of code enforcement officers, licensing boards, enforcement of violations and citations and hearings.
