The next class is scheduled for January 15-16, 2021, FSPA TEC Center, Sarasota and will also be offered February 17-18 in Orlando at the Everything Under the Sun Expo.
The Florida Public Pool Specialist course was developed by the Florida Swimming Pool Association and approved by the state of Florida Department of Health as an approved 16-hour Florida public pool service technician certification course. Successful completion with an open book exam is required to earn certification. Certification is good for 5 years.
This course is approved by the Florida Department of Health for student certification as a Public Pool Service Technician under Chapter 514, F.S. and Chapter 64E-9, F.A.C.
